This is an exciting opportunity for a specifications technologist who is looking to take the next step in their career.

This job is working for a very well-established and respected chilled and frozen ready meal manufacturer supplying into the retailer and food service markets. Always at the forefront of product development and innovation they have continually invested in new facilities and the latest technologies and are currently in the process of opening a 36,000 square foot factory extension.
The job
The position sits with 2 NPD Technologists within the core technical / quality team of 12 persons, who all report into the Technical Director. Key responsibilities are to generate finished product specifications over multiple formats including the major retailers, Hamilton Grant, QADEX and other key customers’ platforms. You are also responsible for gathering required information from suppliers, and vet the information for compliance with full support from the Technical Manager, whilst managing the customer’s expectations and time scales. This is a varied role that requires independent working as well as good team communications.
